Full Time Technical Solomons, MD, US

• Produce replacement and new precision metal parts used in the repair and maintenance of mechanical equipment.
• Read and analyze blueprints, sketches, technical drawings, CAD files, schematics, and manufacturing files to determine dimensions, tolerances, and machining sequences.
• Set up, align, and secure work pieces, fixtures, and cutting tools while operating conventional and CNC lathes, mills, and grinders to machine raw materials into finished components.
• Utilize 3D printing technology to manufacture prototypes, replacement parts, and production components as required.
• Perform first-article and in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments, including calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify compliance with specifications and tight tolerances.
• Monitor machine performance, adjust feeds and speeds, troubleshoot equipment issues, and perform routine machine maintenance to ensure quality, efficiency, and safe operation.

• At least two (2) years of experience interpreting blueprints, sketches, CAD files, technical drawings, schematics, and manufacturing files to produce precision metal parts and components.
• Experience operating conventional and CNC machining equipment, performing quality inspections using precision measuring instruments, and working with 3D printing technologies is required.

High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
