Aerotek - - Responsibilities:
Prepare and paint the interior and exterior surfaces of assembled aerospace parts using spray equipment and other industrial painting tools;
Read and interpret mechanical drawings to understand masking requirements and the proper application of primers and top coats;
Perform sandblasting, masking, and paint preparation in line with detailed customer specifications;
Mix primers and paints in accordance with required ratios and viscosity to achieve specified film thickness, adhesion, gloss, and overall finish;
Inspect work pieces during and after painting to verify coverage, finish quality, and conformance to specifications
