Job Title: Manufacturing Associate

Duration: 12 Months

Job Type: Temporary Assignment

Shift: 1st Shift - 06:30 AM to 05:00 PM

Work Type: Onsite

Pay Range: $20 to $25

Summary

Responsible for performing production functions in a Powder or Liquid Media manufacturing facility according to company and departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). The role involves maintaining records to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and SOPs while working in a fast-paced, safety-oriented, team environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform aseptic processing in a cleanroom environment while adhering to Standard Operating Procedures.
  • Set up and operate production equipment.
  • Complete manufacturing documentation concurrently with production activities.
  • Perform personal and environmental monitoring.
  • Gown aseptically and work in an aseptic environment.
  • Clean production tanks and associated equipment.
  • Formulate bulk production batches and stock solutions.
  • Process production batches in a Laminar Flow Biological Safety Cabinet (LFBSC).
  • Perform integrity testing on sterilizing filters.
  • Wrap and assemble filling materials for autoclaving.
  • Perform material transfer activities, including deboxing, disinfecting cleanroom materials, and staging materials.
  • Assist with drum filling operations as required.
  • Complete assigned departmental tasks, including cleaning and laboratory setup.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities, including environmental monitoring.
  • Review and sign manufacturing batch records and related documentation.
  • Maintain current job-related training requirements.
  • Maintain accurate production bin inventory in the assigned area.
  • Provide information related to deviations to support investigations.
  • Be available for business-required overtime.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Adhere to established manufacturing and testing procedures at all times.
  • Take ownership of product quality and promptly notify management of deficiencies, process deviations, product defects, and related actions.
  • Maintain professional written and verbal communication with internal and external team members.
  • Follow all job safety procedures, attend required health and safety training, promote workplace safety, report actual or potential accidents and injuries, and comply with company and site safety policies.
Required Skills
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Entry-level manufacturing experience (0–4 years).
  • Strong manufacturing or technical skills.
  • Ability to read, understand, and follow SOPs and company policies.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively on manufacturing tasks.
  • Ability to identify and communicate non-routine events.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a questioning attitude.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to share knowledge and provide training to manufacturing personnel.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-workload environment.
