Position OverviewLead and coordinate production activities in a 24/7 cement manufacturing facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations while supervising production teams, driving workforce performance, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
What You’ll Be Doing- Lead and develop a team of production employees.
- Oversee daily plant operations to meet safety, quality, and production goals.
- Coordinate activities with maintenance, quality, and operations teams.
- Troubleshoot production, equipment, and personnel issues.
- Train employees and support continuous improvement efforts.
- High school diploma or GED required; associate or bachelor’s degree in a technical, engineering, or related field is preferred.
- 3+ years of leadership experience in a heavy industrial or heavy manufacturing environment.
- Experience in cement, aggregates, mining, or similar industrial operations preferred.
- Strong understanding of OSHA, MSHA, or comparable industrial safety standards and best practices.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
- Ability to obtain and maintain required ATF licensing for handling detonators used in plant operations.
- Ability to work a rotating schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Successful completion of all required pre-employment screenings.
- Work in a 24/7 cement manufacturing facility.
- Exposure to dust, noise, heavy equipment, and varying weather conditions.
- Frequent walking, climbing, and work around industrial processes.
- Support rotating production crews in a fast-paced operational environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and safely perform physical job requirements.
- Competitive base salary ($84,900 - $113,193) and participation in our annual incentive plan
