Builders / Production Associate

Lingo Staffing is now hiring Builder /Production Associates in the Mt Airy MD area to start ASAP! Bilingual & Spanish-Speaking Candidates Encouraged to Apply! Builders / Production Associates – Assemble building material components, including roof, floor, and wall panels. This is a hands-on manufacturing position working with lumber, hand tools, power tools, and production equipment. Candidates with construction, carpentry, assembly, and manufacturing experience are encouraged to apply.

Entry-level candidates who are comfortable using tools and willing to learn are also welcome! Pay &

Schedule:

1st Shift – $18.50/hour Monday-Friday: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM. Overtime available, including Saturdays as needed. 2nd Shift – $20.00/hour Monday-Thursday: 4:00 PM – 2:30 AM (10-hour Shifts). Friday overtime available as needed.

Job

Responsibilities & Requirements:

• Assemble roof, floors, wall panels, and other building components
• Previous truss building, construction, carpentry, framing, manufacturing, or assembly experience is a plus.
• Position, clamp, splice, and fit lumber according to production specifications
• Follow blueprints, cut sheets, layouts, and supervisor instructions
• Measure and verify dimensions of lumber and other materials
• Use hammers, nail guns, other hands and power tools
• Position metal reinforcement plates over connecting joints
• Operate assigned press stations to properly secure plates onto lumber
• Inspect completed products for accuracy and quality
• Identify damaged or incorrect materials before assembly
• Comfortable working with lumber and building materials
• Ability to safely use basic hand and power tools
• Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
• Ability to follow measurements, layouts, and work instructions
• Must be dependable with a strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a production team
• Willingness to learn and cross-train in different production areas
• Ability to read and write in English or Spanish
• Bilingual English/Spanish candidates are encouraged to apply
• Must be able to perform physical, hands-on work throughout the shift
• Ability to stand, squat, and bend for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Reliable transportation.
• Outdoor and non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
• Physical and fast-paced production work
• Regular use of lumber, hand tools, and production equipment
• PPE provided, including safety glasses, hearing protection, and hard hats when required
• Steel-toe boots are preferred but not required
