Aerotek - - Responsibilities:
Set up CNC machines by configuring CNC controllers, installing tooling or laser lenses, aligning fixtures, and loading raw materials;
Operate CNC mills, lathes, lasers, and manual equipment to run production programs safely and efficiently;
Adjust feed rates and cutting speeds during operation to optimize performance and prevent errors or overheating;
Monitor machine operations closely to identify and correct issues before they affect product quality or equipment performance;
Read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, CAD models, schematics, and work orders to verify job requirements and ensure accurate machining;
Inspect finished components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and tape measures to confirm they meet specifications;
Perform routine cleaning, calibration, and preventative maintenance on CNC and manual equipment to maintain reliability and accuracy;
Troubleshoot minor mechanical or operational issues with machines and equipment, using test equipment and tools as needed;
Document work performed as required by work orders and quality procedures, ensuring accurate and traceable records
