We are conducting a confidential search on behalf of a Forbes-rated luxury waterfront resort on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. This intimate, high-touch destination property is recognized as one of the top resorts in the Mid‑Atlantic, attracting affluent leisure travellers, weddings, and special‑occasion guests. Reporting to the property leadership team and working closely with corporate marketing, the Marketing Manager will oversee the execution of all on‑property marketing activity. This is a hands‑on, multi‑channel role suited to someone who understands luxury positioning, destination storytelling, and experience‑driven marketing
.
- Execute the resort’s annual marketing and communications plan.
- Manage digital marketing channels including:
- Website content
- Email campaigns
- Social media
- Paid digital initiatives
- Support revenue‑driving campaigns across:
- Rooms
- Restaurants and bars
- Spa
- Golf
- Seasonal experiences
- Coordinate photo shoots, content creation, and brand storytelling.
- Work with PR agencies and media partners.
- Support wedding, group, and event marketing initiatives.
- Maintain brand consistency in line with corporate and Forbes standards.
- Track campaign performance and adjust strategy as needed.
- Collaborate with operations teams to promote new offerings and experiences.
- 3–6 years of marketing experience in:
- Luxury hotels or resorts
- Lifestyle hospitality brands
- High‑end travel or experiential brands
- Strong understanding of:
- Digital marketing
- Social media strategy
- Content‑driven brand positioning
- Experience working in luxury or Forbes‑standard environments preferred.
- Highly organized, creative, and commercially aware.
- Comfortable working in a hands‑on, on‑property role.
