Communications and Events Strategist, Mid-Level

Support the planning of multiple simultaneous events for a U.S. Army client. Assist with coordination and execution of logistics for in‑person and virtual events. Design, develop, and produce a variety of internal and external communications and events materials. Apply detail‑oriented skills, balance priorities, and contribute to a team that fosters creativity and growth. Maintain a driven, collaborative, and strategic outlook, and thrive in a fast‑paced environment.

Apply specific functional knowledge, as well as working and general industry knowledge. Develop or contribute solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity. Work independently with some guidance.

• 2+ years of experience in the strategic communications field
• 2+ years of experience with event planning and execution
• Experience supporting and executing in‑person and virtual meetings and events
• Experience supporting special events at the local, regional, and national levels
• Ability to manage multiple competing tasks and events, prioritize as necessary, and deliver to a variety of stakeholders
• Ability to work across organizational levels and make complex subjects easily understandable
• Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
• Bachelor’s degree

• Experience working in an Army or other DoW environment
• Experience supporting and executing international events
• Knowledge of AP style
• Ability to work individually and in a collaborative team environment
• Possession of excellent listening, observation, analytical, problem recognition and problem‑solving skills
• Secret clearance

Salary is determined by factors such as location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is $55,200.00 to $ (annualized USD).
