Position Summary

Arundel Lodge is seeking a creative, organized, and community-focused Non
- Profit

Marketing/ Outreach Coordinator to increase the organization's visibility and strengthen community engagement. This role supports the Development Department by promoting agency programs and services through social media, website management, marketing campaigns, community outreach, fundraising events, and public relations efforts.

The ideal candidate is an excellent communicator with strong organizational skills, a passion for nonprofit work, and the ability to manage multiple projects while representing Arundel Lodge professionally within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop, schedule, and manage engaging content across Arundel Lodge's social media platforms.
  • Maintain and update the organization's website to ensure information is accurate, current, and engaging.
  • Create and distribute marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, newsletters, email campaigns, and promotional content.
  • Coordinate planning, logistics, and promotion for fundraising events, donor activities, and community outreach initiatives.
  • Represent Arundel Lodge at community events, networking opportunities, and partnership meetings.
  • Collaborate with the Development Director and program staff to promote agency programs, fundraising campaigns, and success stories.
  • Capture photos, testimonials, and stories that showcase the impact of Arundel Lodge's services.
  • Assist with media relations, press releases, and public announcements.
  • Maintain inventory of promotional materials and event supplies.
  • Monitor marketing performance and recommend strategies to increase community awareness and engagement.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
Experience & Skills & Competencies
  • Two to five years of experience in non-proft marketing, communications, public relations, or community outreach preferred.
  • Experience working in a nonprofit organization is a must.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, project management, and time management abilities.
  • Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Canva, social media platforms, Word Press or other website content management systems, and CRM software preferred.
  • Ability to build positive relationships with staff, volunteers, donors, community partners, and the public.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and represent the organization professionally.

Salary: $30 - $30 an hour

Qualifications Education
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Business, or a related field preferred.
Additional Requirements
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for community events and meetings.
  • Successful completion of required background check, drug screening, TB testing, and other employment requirements.

The Marketing and Outreach Coordinator is expected to demonstrate and promote the principles of the Recovery Model in all interactions with persons served, staff, and community partners. This includes fostering hope, respect, empathy, empowerment, self-determination, peer support, and the use of person-centered, non-stigmatizing language. Arundel Lodge provides ongoing training and support in the Recovery Model, and employees are evaluated on their application of these principles in their daily work.
