SUMMARY:

The Parent Engagement Coordinator is responsible for building meaningful connections with current and prospective families while strengthening engagement within the Stoler Early Learning Center and the broader JCC community. This role leads the development and implementation of J Parent programming, serves as a liaison to the Family Association and other community partners, supports ELC events and social media, and helps guide prospective families through the inquiry and tour process.

Working collaboratively with the ELC leadership team and other JCC departments, the Parent Engagement Coordinator creates opportunities for families to connect, engage, and build lasting relationships with the JCC.

WHO ARE YOU:

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in family engagement, early childhood education, community programming, nonprofit programming, event planning, admissions, or a related field preferred.
• Strong interpersonal and relationship‑building skills, with the ability to connect with families, community partners, staff, and prospective families.
• Experience planning, coordinating, and facilitating programs, events, or community engagement opportunities.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on details.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively with a team.
• Experience using social media and creating engaging content for families and community audiences.
• Comfort using technology and database or CRM systems to track inquiries, communication, participation, and other program information.
• Experience managing budgets, tracking expenses, and/or grant‑funded programming preferred.
• Ability to collect feedback and use data to help inform programming and engagement strategies.
• Demonstrated ability to provide welcoming, responsive, and high‑quality customer service to current and prospective families.
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends for programs, events, and community engagement opportunities.
• Knowledge of or interest in Jewish community, culture, and family engagement is preferred.
• Must be CPR and First Aid certified or have the ability to obtain and maintain CPR and First Aid certification within three months of employment. Medical administration certification is also required for all school leadership.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:
