Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) 7a-7p at Stella Maris Inc. Stella Maris has been a leading nursing home for nearly 70 years, providing comprehensive health and residential services to Baltimore-area residents.

Shift: 7:00a-7:00p with every other weekend requirement. Full‑time and part‑time positions available.

• Under supervision of a licensed nurse, provide nursing care according to facility philosophy, policies and procedures, meeting patients’ daily needs and responding to call lights; assume care of patients’ clothing, personal property and environment; use supplies, linen and equipment efficiently.
• Take and record residents’ vital signs, weight, intake and output, and other measurements accurately and on time.
• Provide assistance with all ADL’s for assigned residents.
• Maintain documentation on residents/patients’ charts according to facility protocol.
• Promptly answer residents’ call lights.
• Demonstrate knowledge of infection control and consistently practice standard precautions.
• Regularly assume responsibility for resident’s clothing and personal property by securing items in accordance with established routines.

• GNA license in Maryland.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Possess good nursing skills, patience, understanding and a positive, caring attitude.
