Job Summary A Registered Nurse (RN) to provide holistic nursing care in a correctional healthcare setting. The RN practices within the appropriate scope of care while working under the supervision of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor. This role requires collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to assess, identify, and respond to patients’ medical, psychological, and social needs.
Qualifications- Associate’s degree in Nursing required
- Active Registered Nurse license in the State of Maryland
- Current tuberculosis (TB) documentation
- BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screening
- Minimum of one year of RN experience preferred in a hospital, outpatient clinic, or long-term care setting
- Correctional healthcare experience preferred
