JOB DESCRIPTION

Intermediate Care Registered Nurse (IMC RN) – Night Shift

Direct Hire | Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts | 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM

A high-performing, community-focused healthcare organization in the coastal Maryland/Delaware region is hiring an Intermediate Care Registered Nurse (IMC RN) for a permanent, full-time night shift role. This opportunity offers 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and strong compensation incentives, including a sign-on bonus of up to $10,000 and relocation reimbursement up to $2,500.

The IMC RN provides high-acuity care to patients who require advanced monitoring and intervention but do not meet ICU criteria. This is a fast-paced, team-driven environment ideal for nurses who thrive in critical thinking and complex patient care.

POSITION OVERVIEW

SHIFT DETAILS
  • Full-time, 12-hour shifts
  • Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
  • Rotating weekends required
  • Occasional overtime may be required
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage high-acuity patients requiring advanced monitoring and rapid intervention
  • Care for patient populations including sepsis, DKA, post open-heart procedures, and continuous cardiac infusions
  • Monitor patients requiring non-invasive ventilation such as BiPAP and CPAP
  • Assess and respond quickly to changes in hemodynamic and respiratory status
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
  • Serve as an advocate and educator for patients and families
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
REQUIREMENTS
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of permanent residency
  • American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
  • NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required or ability to obtain prior to hire
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States (sponsorship not available)
COMPENSATION & INCENTIVES
  • Hourly pay range: $33.00 – $52.80, based on experience
  • Up to $10,000 sign-on bonus
  • Up to $2,500 relocation reimbursement
