USPI South Plains Endoscopy Center

is seeking a motivated Clinical Manager to join our team . We have 1 OR room, 3 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology.
Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some early mornings and later evenings may be required; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day.

Job Summary

The clinical manager is responsible for overseeing and developing the ambulatory surgical center’s clinical departments through key tasks such as hiring, evaluating, mentoring, scheduling, and supervision. We seek a professional with proven but flexible strategies to allow for continued growth for the business. A clinical manager should be able to solve problems quickly and effectively using excellent critical thinking skills with emotional intelligence to deal with staff at all levels within the organization.

Responsibilities include but limited to:

  • Implement staff development programs, quality assurance, and monitoring budgets for service programs. Work with other members of the management team and communicate effectively with them. Develop and plan strategies to manage program growth and ensure business sustainability.
  • Generate revenues for clinical services, with experience in client billings and adherence to regulations such as Joint Commission, CMS standards of care, fiscal budgets and performance improvement.
  • Have great communication skills and be open to working flexible hours.
  • Possess great organizational and program development skills, along with experience in basic computer software such as the Microsoft Office suite.
  • Attend all mandatory in‑services and meetings, including the Annual Safety and Competency education session.
  • Act in accordance with the vision, mission and business of the Center.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of a professional school of Nursing;
    Bachelors preferred.
  • Must have current uninhibited Texas RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • Three years of operating room/critical care experience.
  • Three years of RN management experience; outpatient surgery area a plus.
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to work well with physicians, employees, patients and others.
  • Knowledge, skills, and abilities of a Staff Nurse are required for this position.
  • Familiar with State and CMS regulations for accreditation of Outpatient Surgery or Hospital
