Asakeymemberofourleadershipteam,the
Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)guidesandsupportsournursingstafftoensurethehigheststandardsofcareforourresidents.

• Musthave,asaminimum,two(2) yearsofexperienceasasupervisorinahospital,nursing home,orotherrelatedhealthcarefacility.
• Currentunrestrictedlicenseasa Registered Nurse (RN) inthepracticingstate.
• Knowledgeableofnursingandmedicalpracticesandprocedures,aswellaslaws,regulationsandguidelinespertainingtolong-termcare.
• Current
  
  CPR certification.

• Assists the Director of Nursinginplanning ,anddirectingtheday-to-dayoperationsofthe
  
  Nursing
  
  Services department,aswellasitsprogramsandactivities,inaccordancewithcurrentstateandfederallawsandregulations.
• Interpretsandcommunicatespoliciesandprocedurestonursingstaff,andmonitorsstaffpracticesandimplementation.
• Participatesindailyorweeklymanagementteammeetingstodiscusscensuschanges,residentchangesinstatus,complaintsorconcerns.
• Assistsinevaluatingworkperformanceofallnursingpersonnelandimplementsdisciplineaccordingtooperationalpolicies.
• Participates in
  
  QAPIorfacilityassessmentactivitiesasneeded,suchascarryingoutdutiesassignedaspartofaperformanceimprovementcommittee.
• Facilitates,serves,attendsorparticipatesinvariouscommitteesofthefacilityasappointed.
• Ensuresdeliveryofcompassionatequalitycareandnursingsupervisionasevidencedbyadequatestaffcoverageontheunits,general cleanliness,andmaintenanceofoptimalresidentfunctions.
• Assistswithoversightofnursingschedulestoensureresidentneeds,regulatory,andbudgetstandardsaremet.
