Salary Range: $32.00 – $39.00 hourly.

Mercy Ridge is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our Assisted Living program. This is a non‑exempt PRN (as needed) position that requires flexibility in scheduling (day/evening/night shifts and weekends). The incumbent will ensure that high‑quality nursing care is provided to residents on the Assisted Living unit. Candidates must have prior Assisted Living experience, a current Maryland LPN license, and a current CPR certification.

• Use the nursing process to provide care according to individualized resident care/service plans and manage routine and emergency care in accordance with departmental policies and procedures.
• Prioritize, plan, and provide direct resident care, including physical and psychological care, assisting with activities of daily living, lifting, positioning, or transferring patients that require physical assistance.
• Provide supervision and guidance to direct and non‑direct care staff assigned to work with residents.
• Participate in the data collection process and assist the physician in planning for residents’ health care needs; act as liaison between residents and the physician.
• Communicate appropriate information to the health care team members as authorized by the Resident Care Manager, Delegating Nurse Manager, and/or the Administrator of the Assisted Living Facility.
• Respond to emergency calls in both the Independent Living and Assisted Living areas and communicate with emergency personnel and family members as appropriate.

• Prior experience in Assisted Living settings.
• Current Maryland LPN license.
• Current CPR certification.
