Sign on bonus potential: $10,000.00
Salary: $37.15 - $57.58 per hour (experience-based)
Job Type: Full-time, Weekend Commitment;
Day/Night rotation – Rotating 7am-7:30pm/7pm-7:30am.
As a member of the patient care team, the RN provides safe, age-appropriate patient care and functions as an advisor and resource for patients and their families.
Requirements- Telemetry experience required
- Peds/PICU/NICU experience required
- 2+ years of experience
- RN License in Maryland or applicable Compact State
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) from the American Heart Association
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
- Stable within 6 months of hire
- Chemo/biotherapy provider course within 6 months of hire
- Preferred:
Certified Pediatric Nurse (CPN) or Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) – Pediatric or Neonatal
- Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) from the American Heart Association
- Trauma Certification within 6 months of hire
- NIH Stroke Scale certification within 6 months of hire
Staff will follow a 6‑week schedule and a weekend obligation of 4 shifts, 3 major holidays, and 2 difficult‑to‑staff days required. All staff are eligible for shift incentives once flex obligations have been met.
