RN Nurse, General Nursing
Description Make an Impact Where It Matters Most
At Mountain Laurel Medical Center (MLMC), our mission is simple yet powerful: to provide high-quality, patient-centered healthcare to our communities—regardless of ability to pay. As a Federally Qualified Health Center serving multiple locations across Maryland and West Virginia, we are seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and reliable Registered Nurse to work alongside our clinicians.
This is more than a clinical support role—it’s an opportunity to be on the front lines of patient care, playing a vital role in improving health outcomes and delivering compassionate, mission-driven care to the communities we serve.
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and coordinating high-quality patient care while supporting providers and collaborating with the healthcare team. This individual assesses patient needs, develops and implements care plans, administers medications and treatments, provides patient education, and helps ensure a positive patient experience. The Registered Nurse plays a key role in promoting health, managing patient care, and ensuring patients feel supported and comfortable throughout their healthcare journey.
MLMC is proud to support work-life balance by offering a consistent Monday through Friday schedule with no routine weekends, allowing employees more time for family, personal commitments, and overall well‑being.
The Position is based in our Westernport, MD office.
The successful candidate will uphold the Code of Ethics and mission of Mountain Laurel Medical Center in a manner consistent with the core values of Patient‑Focused, Respect, Accountability, Teamwork, Continuous Improvement, and Integrity.
The successful candidate will be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and hold a current, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Maryland or eligibility to practice in Maryland under the Nurse Licensure Compact (NC). Previous clinical nursing experience in a primary care, outpatient, or medical office setting is preferred. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR), patient assessment, care coordination, medication administration, and clinical documentation is highly desirable.
Current CPR certification is required. Strong communication, organizational, and patient education skills are essential.
At Mountain Laurel Medical Center, we believe in caring for our employees as much as we care for our patients. We offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, financial well‑being, work‑life balance, and professional growth, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, holidays, retirement benefits, employee assistance resources, and ongoing development opportunities. Join a mission‑driven team committed to making a difference in the communities we serve.
