Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner

In this role, you'll build meaningful relationships with patients while providing comprehensive, evidence-based primary care across the lifespan. Working alongside experienced physicians and an interdisciplinary care team, you'll play a vital role in promoting wellness, managing chronic conditions, preventing disease, and improving the overall health of our community.

What You’ll Do- Provide comprehensive primary care services including health assessments, physical examinations, diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing management of acute and chronic medical conditions.
- Develop individualized treatment plans that promote preventive care, wellness, and healthy lifestyle choices.
- Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests and incorporate findings into evidence‑based treatment plans.
- Prescribe medications and other therapies in accordance with state regulations and organizational policies.
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, disease prevention, and health maintenance.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, specialists, care managers, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate seamless, high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Advocate for patients by promoting continuity of care and connecting them with appropriate community and healthcare resources.
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current Maryland Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse licensure (or eligibility for licensure).
- Current BLS certification (or ability to obtain prior to providing patient care).
- DEA and CDS eligibility.
- Strong clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for delivering compassionate, patient-centered primary care.
- Prior Family Medicine or Primary Care experience is preferred but not required.
