Job Summary
Join the Infusion Center at 87th Ave. as a part‑time Infusion Nurse.
Schedule:
30 hrs/week in three 10‑hour shifts Wed‑Fri. Part‑time requires full‑time, on‑site training for several weeks. As a (non‑chemo) Infusion Nurse you will work in an outpatient infusion setting with a team of skilled professionals.
- Mix and administer biotherapy agents.
- Maintain knowledge of the actions/interactions of biotherapeutic agents.
- Assist in the delivery of quality health care.
- Act as a patient advocate for a broad range of people with varied ethnic, religious, and socio‑economic backgrounds.
- Help patients maintain their health and treat illness.
- Active, unencumbered Washington or multi‑state RN license required within 60 days of hire or transfer if using multi‑state licensure.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider certification.
- Excellent venous access skills including peripheral IV insertion, mediport and PICC care and maintenance.
- Previous experience in an outpatient medical setting preferred.
- Previous experience with electronic medical record preferred.
- Infusion experience preferred (non‑chemo).
- Ability to work with or without reasonable accommodation with a diverse population of patients and colleagues.
Wage: new hires generally start between $42.60–$52.50 and placement in the range is dependent on an evaluation of experience. Pay Range: $41.85–$62.78.
