Nurse Supervisor-RN

Responsibilities

• Supervise the medical care of all patients from registration to departure.
• Supervise clinical personnel on patient contact, care, and performance.
• Schedule Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants.
• Review and supervise inventory of medicines, prescriptions, and supplies.
• Act as Patient First representative for the Director of Medical Support and Medical Director in their absence to ensure smooth operation of the center.
• Function as an administrator and work as a Staff Nurse as needed.
• Review all checklists of Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants.
• Prepare written and verbal evaluations for Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants at scheduled times, or when necessary.
• Provide positive, warm, and friendly customer service in all interactions.
• Foster teamwork and a positive, professional atmosphere.
• Complete other duties as directed.

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Keyboarding experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• One year of clerical experience preferred.
• One year of clinical experience with medication administration preferred.
• One year of supervisory experience preferred.
• Licensed to practice as a nurse in the state of Maryland.

$41.00 - $46.00 per hour, depending on experience.
