Registered Nurse - Internal Medicine

Position Overview

Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to patients.

Salary Range: $29.50 - $38.50 (May be eligible for a sign‑on bonus)

• Coordinate care, assess patients, educate patients, triage, and perform other nursing interventions.
• Collaborate with inter‑professional colleagues, including physicians, to plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Demonstrate competency within the full scope of nursing expertise, using age and population‑specific standards as designated in assigned clinical setting.
• Operate within the scopes and standards outlined by the Nurse Practice Act and state administrative rules.
• Apply the Sanford Professional Nursing Practice framework, including the Scope & Standards of Practice and the Code of Ethics for Nurses.

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program preferred (AACN, ACEN, NLN CNEA) and hold a Bachelor’s Degree in nursing, if possible.
• Current unencumbered RN license with the State Board of Nursing where practice occurs and/or possess multistate licensure if in a Nurse Licensure Compact state.
• Obtain and maintain required department‑specific licensure, competencies, and certifications.
