• Perform within the established standard of post anesthesia and critical care nursing.
• Utilize the standard of care in the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the surgical patient.
• Formulate care plans based on individual assessment of physiologic functions and problems.
• Provide nursing care utilizing clinical knowledge and expertise, reacting immediately to adverse physiological changes.
• Render nursing care following aseptic techniques.
• Assemble and communicate appropriate information in verbal or written reports.
• Execute proper use of equipment and supplies in the Recovery Room area.
• Participate in the Surgery Department's Quality Assurance Program.
• Promote personal and professional growth by participating in continuing education programs.
• Show courtesy, compassion, respect, and adherence to standards in the Operating Room.
