Nursing Professional & Support Travel RNs assigned to Maryland earn up to $3,085/week including non-taxed weekly stipend.
Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services. We are currently seeking afull-time Evening Travel Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Centurion Eagles Travel Teamat Eastern Correctional Institution located in Westover, MD.
The Travel Program RNwill work between various facilities/locations throughout the state of Maryland, per contract needs. Each assignment will be restricted to one location. TheRNis responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients. Registered Nurses work under the direction of the Director of Nursing and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to identify, assess and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological and social needs of the patient.
Our travelers have opportunities throughout the country and are full-time, benefit-eligible Centurion employees.
Shift: Nights, every other weekend, 36 hours per week.
Qualifications- Licensed RN with an active license to practice in Maryland
- Minimum of one year of work experience as an RN in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care facility preferred
- Corrections experience preferred
- Previous travel nursing experience preferred
- Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)/ BLS
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
