We are seeking a compassionate and collaborative a dual boarded Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) & Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).

This is an excellent opportunity for a provider who enjoys treating both the medical and psychiatric needs of patients with substance use and co-occurring mental health disorders
.

What You’ll Do
  • Provide comprehensive medical and psychiatric assessment and treatment for patients throughout the addiction treatment continuum.
  • Evaluate patients for substance use disorders, intoxication, withdrawal, and other medical or psychiatric conditions.
  • Assess and manage withdrawal symptoms and prescribe medications in accordance with established protocols and clinical judgment.
  • Evaluate medication effectiveness, adverse effects, complications, and potential drug interactions.
  • Assess patients for risk of suicide or harm to others using evidence-based tools, including the Columbia Suicide Severity Rating Scale (C-SSRS) and PHQ-9.
  • Develop individualized treatment recommendations based on clinical findings and patient needs.
  • Assess nutritional concerns and deficiencies and provide appropriate interventions or referrals.
  • Evaluate and manage acute and chronic pain using appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic approaches.
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, therapists, case managers, and other members of the multidisciplinary treatment team.
  • Complete timely, accurate, and compliant documentation in the electronic health record.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies, state regulations, and Joint Commission standards.
  • Participate in weekend coverage and telephonic on-call responsibilities as needed.

JOB DUTIES:

Provides excellent medical care with the ARS philosophy outlined by the Chief Medical Officer and Medical Director. This includes the ability to establish rapport, systematically gather data, determine the readiness of an individual for treatment and change and apply accepted criteria for diagnosis of substance use disorders.
