Part-Time FlexibilityThis position is a 0.5 FTE equivalent, requiring just four 10-hour shifts every two weeks, making it ideal for providers seeking work-life balance while staying clinically engaged.

What You’ll Do- Perform newborn assessments and daily rounds.
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage newborn patients.
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing.
- Partner with physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary team members to provide exceptional care.
- Educate and support new parents during a life-changing experience.
- Perform procedures including newborn circumcisions.
- Help families confidently transition from hospital to home.
- Love working with newborns and their families.
- Enjoy patient education and building meaningful connections.
- Thrive in a collaborative, family-centered environment.
- Are organized, compassionate, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Want to contribute to a culture focused on quality, safety, and exceptional patient experiences.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- RN experience required.
- Completion of an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner program.
- Active Maryland NP license.
- Graduate of an ARC-PA accredited Physician Assistant program.
- NCCPA certification required.
- Active Maryland PA license.
- One year of nursery, newborn, pediatric, or related clinical experience.
- BLS certification required.
- NRP certification preferred.
- Eligible for credentialing through the University of Maryland Capital Region Health Medical Staff Office.
