Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Landscape Crew Leader, located in Kensington, MD. The Landscape Crew Leader will oversee daily operations of a landscaping crew, managing and executing tasks such as planting, trimming, hardscape installation, and general landscape maintenance. Responsibilities include delegating assignments, ensuring safety and quality standards are met, and maintaining communication with managers and team members. The ideal candidate will play a key role in fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment while providing excellent service to clients.

Qualifications
  • Experience in landscape maintenance, and installation, including planting, pruning, and hardscaping
  • Assist with snow operations during the winter months
  • Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills
  • Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and drawings with attention to detail and project requirements
  • Knowledge of landscaping equipment maintenance and operation
  • Experience ensuring compliance with safety protocols and quality standards
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for coordinating with team members and clients

    Track time, materials, and project progress accurately using an app on a company phone
  • Physical stamina and ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
  • Previous landscaping and leadership experience is preferred
  • A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required
  • Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish are a plus
