Veterinary Technician Assistant

We are seeking a Veterinary Technician Assistants tojoin our privately owned small animal veterinary practices in Queenstown, MD and Annapolis, MD. We are looking for adependable, compassionate, and team-oriented individual who enjoys working withanimals and providing excellent patient care.

• Atleast 1 year of veterinary experience in a clinical setting
• Comfortablehandling dogs and cats safely and compassionately
• Reliable,responsive, and able to work well as part of a team
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willingto learn and take direction from veterinarians and veterinary technicians
• Professional,positive attitude with excellent client and patient service skills

• Assistveterinary technicians and veterinarians with appointments and procedures
• Safelyrestrain and handle patients
• Prepareexam rooms and treatment areas
• Assist with patient intake and discharge
• Obtainand record patient weights and basic history information
• Cleanand disinfect kennels, treatment areas, and equipment
• Assist with laboratory samples and basic in-house diagnostics
• Maintaina clean, organized, and safe hospital environment
• Provide compassionate care to patients and their owners
