Kennel Assistant

Interlude Pet Resort and Spa is looking for reliable, friendly, and hardworking team members to join our animal care staff as a Kennel Aide Assistant.

An animal caretaker plays an important role in the health, safety, and happiness of the pets in our care. This is a hands-on, physical job that involves caring for dogs and cats throughout the day while maintaining a clean and safe environment. While the work can be demanding, it is also incredibly rewarding for individuals who genuinely enjoy working with animals and being part of a caring team.

No prior experience is necessary - we are willing to train the right person with a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

• Feeding and caring for pets
• Supervising and interacting with animals
• Cleaning up after pets
• Hosing and sanitizing yards and play areas
• Laundry and washing dishes
• Maintaining cleanliness throughout the facility
• Assisting with daily kennel operations

• Reliable and punctual
• Friendly and professional attitude
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to perform physical tasks including standing, lifting, bending, and cleaning
• Must be comfortable working around dogs and cats of all sizes
• Weekends and holidays are required

Shifts may include:

• Full shifts between 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM
• Half shifts:
  • 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM
