(SA-TECH) is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense (DoD) contractor specializing in Range operations and maintenance (O&M); weapons testing; facilities management; aerial, ground and seaborne targets O&M; technical, logistics and other engineering support; systems integration; electronics and communications maintenance services; and a growing cybersecurity business. SA-TECH operates a dozen active test and training ranges for the Army, Air Force and Navy.

We are currently looking to hire a Quality Control Inspector at our St. Inigoes, MD facilities to implement quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations. This is a manufacturing environment QC/QA position; the tools differ from aircraft QC.

• Inspects all phases of a variety of goods, services, or operations for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards.
• Implements quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
• Ensures all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed satisfactorily.
• Specifies areas to be inspected (scheduled and unscheduled) and determines inspection frequency.
• Communicates deficiencies to appropriate personnel, maintains Quality Control files, and documents results of all inspections.
• Conducts thorough reviews of quality requirements to identify necessary controls, processes, skills, fixtures, tools, and test equipment.
• Updates inspection and testing techniques, instrumentation, and manufacturing methods and processes.

• Most work conducted indoors.
• 05% walking, 20% bending, 15% reaching, 45% standing, 10% lifting, 5% sitting.

• High School Diploma; formal technical training a plus.
• Minimum three (3) years experience inspecting to design specifications, either as a QC inspector or fabrication technician responsible for inspecting projects for compliance with design tolerances.
• Prior QC Inspector experience preferred.
• Proficient with measuring tools and equipment used for quality control and compliance inspections of manufactured parts and materials.
• Current Maryland Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours and for the duration of employment.
• U.S. Citizenship required and must already have or be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
• All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
