Quality Control Supervisor; Manufacturing​/Fabrication Security Clearance

Pay: $95,000 – $115,000 per year

• Interface with the customer regarding the production QMS to ensure local processes and procedures are aligned with contract QA/QC requirements.
• Ensure all services listed on the performance requirement summary are performed satisfactorily.
• Specify inspection areas (scheduled and unscheduled) and determine inspection frequency.
• Communicate deficiencies to proper persons, maintain Quality Control files, and document results of all inspections.
• Conduct thorough reviews of quality requirements to identify controls, processes, skills, fixtures, tools, and test equipment necessary to assure product quality.
• Update inspection and testing techniques, instrumentation, and manufacturing methods and processes.
• Implement quality control and safety plans to ensure compliance with contract specifications and applicable regulations.
• Inspect all phases of a variety of goods, services, or operations for conformity to established quality, health and safety, and other operational standards, performing ongoing work for compliance with contractual provisions.

• Positions will include: 45% standing, 20% bending, 15% reaching, 5% sitting, 5% walking, and 10% lifting.
• The environment may be loud and PPE may be required at times.

• Bachelor’s degree or qualifying substitution in an engineering, technical, or business discipline; six (6) years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree.
• An Associate's degree and four (4) years of relevant experience may also be substituted for the Bachelor's degree.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience directly related to the Department of Defense (DoD). A background in Manufacturing or Fabrication is highly desired.

Current Maryland Driver’s License required; must be eligible for company vehicle insurance during work hours and throughout employment. U.S. citizenship required with a DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to start date and maintained throughout employment. All candidates must pass background screening including SSN, driver record, and criminal background investigation.
