Role description
Arcadis is seeking a Nuclear Quality Manager to join the team in the United States. The Nuclear Quality Manager will provide leadership, maintenance and oversight of the Nuclear Quality Management System and will manage day-to-day Nuclear QMS activities. The Nuclear Quality Manager will report directly to the Global Quality Management Systems Director and will be based in the United States supporting work globally.
Roleaccountabilities
The Nuclear Quality Manager coordinates the implementation, administration, and monitoring of global Quality Management Systems (QMS) governance and Nuclear Quality Management (NQMS) systems within the country. This role ensures compliance with established requirements, records any exceptions as necessary and provides suggestions and recommendations for changes to the respective Global Quality Leaders.
Governance- Has the overall responsibility for establishing, maintaining and assuring effective implementation of the NQA-1, Quality Management System.

- Assure in-country governmental regulations, legal, and statutory requirements are met.
- Ensures that indoctrination training is relevant, executed, and records of qualification and training are retained.
- Develops the nuclear audit/project plan annually, submits it to the CQM for review and approval, reviews periodically, and revises as necessary to ensure risk mitigation is maintained. Supports auditors in internal and external audits.
- Executes a minimum of five quality assurance audits within a period not exceeding three years, with at least one annually, to maintain certification.
- Ensures that the Internal Audit program complies with requirements, maintains audit competencies, addresses any corrective actions from the internal/external audit process in a timely manner, and verifies their effectiveness.
- Develops new Quality Procedures and content to ensure compliance with changes in Nuclear Standards and their associated standards or those required by the client.
- Reports in-country Quality KPI’s for deviations, audits, corrective actions, and lessons learned summary reports on the performance of the NQMS.
- Implements a continuous improvement process.
- Overall responsibility for compliance with the Global Quality Management System.
- Contribute to and support the implementation of a Global Integrated Management System (IMS) for Arcadis.
- Manages Quality resources to coordinate quality staff to support projects.
- Develops Management Review content and chairs meetings.

The Nuclear Quality Manager will report directly to the Global Quality Management Systems Director. The Global Quality Management Systems Director reports directly to the Global Performance Excellence Director.
