Quality Control Technician

As a Quality Technician at our Millington, MD Facility, you will provide Quality Assurance support to improve internal and outgoing product quality while helping ensure customer satisfaction.

This position supports manufacturing quality initiatives through inspection, testing, process monitoring, and continuous improvement activities.

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final product inspections and testing to verify quality requirements.
• Utilize measuring tools and inspection equipment to validate dimensional and functional specifications.
• Participate in problem‑solving and continuous improvement activities supporting product and manufacturing processes.
• Monitor production processes and products to ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Support containment activities and assist in processing non‑conforming products through resolution and closure.
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and document inspection results.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, Production Planning, and Logistics teams to address quality concerns.
• Support process audits, calibration activities, safety initiatives, and other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred.
• 2+ years of quality experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• 2+ years of experience using measurement tools and inspection techniques preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manufacturing or fabrication experience.
• Experience working with Quality Management Systems (QMS) preferred.
• Ability to use measuring equipment such as calipers, micrometers, DFT gauges, and go/no‑go gauges.
• Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, procedures, and complete required documentation.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Basic math and geometry skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to operate hand tools and test equipment.

This position requires standing, walking, and hand dexterity for extended periods. It may involve bending, kneeling, and occasional climbing or repositioning. The role requires lifting, carrying, or moving materials up to 50lbs occasionally, 30lbs frequently, and 10lbs consistently. Work is performed in a manufacturing setting that may not be climate‑controlled and can include exposure to varying temperatures.

• Compensation Range: $17.20 – $31.90 per hour.
