Skills & Experience:

2+ years of quality technician experience, electronic assembly/CCA inspection background, ERP experience (SAP preferred), ability to create nonconformance report (NCRs) independently, knowledge of IPC-A-610 standards.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking a Quality Technician Level C to support their manufacturing operations in Hanover, MD. This role is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of electronic assemblies, ensuring compliance with quality standards, workmanship requirements, and customer specifications. The ideal candidate will have experience in a regulated manufacturing environment, strong inspection skills, and the ability to independently identify, document, and manage nonconforming material.

After an initial training period, the selected candidate will be expected to perform inspections and quality-related tasks independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-process and final inspections of electronic assemblies and components.
  • Verify compliance with IPC-A-610 workmanship standards and inspection requirements.
  • Review and interpret drawings, work instructions, specifications, and inspection criteria.
  • Create, document, and process Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and Quality Notifications.
  • Identify, segregate, document, and maintain control of nonconforming material.
  • Maintain accurate inspection records and ensure full product traceability.
  • Utilize SAP or other ERP systems (such as Costpoint or WMS) to document inspection results and quality activities.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and collaborate with production teams to resolve quality issues.
  • Ensure calibration requirements and inspection equipment standards are properly understood and followed.
