Quality Inspector Quality Technician

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector / Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for performing inspections and testing throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet established quality, dimensional, and functional requirements.

The ideal candidate will have previous quality or inspection experience within a manufacturing or fabrication environment and be comfortable working with precision measuring equipment, blueprints, and quality documentation. This is a hands‑on position that works closely with Manufacturing, Engineering, Purchasing, Production Planning, and other departments to identify and resolve quality concerns.

• Perform receiving, in-process, and final product inspections and testing.
• Inspect manufactured components to verify dimensional, functional, and quality specifications.
• Utilize precision measuring equipment, including calipers, micrometers, DFT gauges, and go/no-go gauges
  .
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, work instructions, specifications, and procedures
  .
• Conduct First Article Inspections (FAI) and accurately document inspection results.
• Monitor manufacturing processes and finished products to ensure established quality standards are maintained.
• Identify and document non-conforming materials and products.
• Support containment activities and assist with the resolution and closure of non-conforming products.
• Participate in root-cause problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work with Manufacturing and Engineering teams to address production and quality issues.
• Collaborate with Purchasing, Quality, Customer Service, Production Planning, and Logistics to resolve quality concerns.
• Assist with process audits and calibration activities.
• Maintain accurate inspection and quality documentation.
• Support workplace safety initiatives and additional quality-related projects as needed.

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in a technical field is a plus but not required.
• 2+ years of quality inspection or quality-related manufacturing experience preferred.
• 2+ years of experience using measurement tools and inspection techniques preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and previous manufacturing or fabrication experience.
• Experience working within a Quality Management System (QMS) preferred.
• Hands‑on experience using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other inspection equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation.
• Ability to accurately complete inspection reports and other required documentation.
• Basic math and geometry skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to safely operate hand tools and testing equipment.
• Ability to work effectively with production, engineering, and quality teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
