Realty Specialist

Duties

• Assists the Real Estate Chief with the formulation, dissemination and oversight of ANG Real Estate Execution policy and procedures at assigned ANG units located within the United States and its territories.
• Directly interacts with the Air National Guard Programming and Requirements Branches.
• Conducts Staff Assistance Visits/Inspections to units of assignment to evaluate effectiveness of real estate execution management objectives, and pros ide additional training emphasis on real estate execution actions assisting with recommendation to resolving complex real estate problems and projects as appropriate.
• Responsible for accountability, the accuracy and submission of real estate reports and accountable real estate records that are prescribed by HQ AF/A4 or Congress.

• Depending on the type of position (competitive/excepted) you are selected for, you will be required to serve a 1-year probationary period OR 2-year trial period.
• Upon completion of your probationary/trial period, your employment will be terminated unless you receive certification, in writing, that your continued employment advances the public interest.
• Work may occasionally require travel outside the normal duty hours and away from the normal duty station on military or commercial aircraft, or other conveyance in performance of TDY
• Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance
• Position may perform other related duties as assigned
• The employee may be required to work other than normal duty hours, which may include evenings, weekends, and/or holidays
• Employee may be required to work overtime
• This is a developmental position with full potential to GS-12. This position may be filled at the GS-09, 11 or GS-12 grade level.
• The candidate selected for this position may be non-competitively promoted to the target grade of GS-12 upon completion of the following requirements:
• (a) satisfactory demonstration of ability to perform at the higher-grade level; (b) recommendation for promotion by supervisor; and (c) completion of all OPM qualifications, including time in grade and all conditions of employment
• This position may be Centrally Managed if hired at the GS 11 and GS-12 position only
