NGS Scientist

Job Title

My client is expanding and seeks a Scientist to take on the following tasks:

• Design and perform experiments to support research efforts and product development.
• Analyze data, present findings, and make recommendations for project advancement.
• Perform literature and market research on new research or product areas.
• Work within a matrixed environment across multiple groups.
• Prepare and support invention disclosures, patent applications, grant proposals, posters and papers.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifies:

• PhD and experience with NGS experimental design, library construction, and data analysis.
• Extensive experience in Molecular Biology techniques, including cloning, DNA sequence analysis, protein expression and purification and tissue culture.
• Ability to independently design and execute research plans and review, analyze, and interpret experimental results.
• Strong collaboration skills together with evidence of having used these to support problem solving and delivery in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
• Strong publication record.
