Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory (APL) invites a PhD candidate in physics or nuclear engineering to join the Applied Chemistry and Physics group as an intern focused on sensing radiation in high background environments. You will help design advanced radiation sensors, run simulations, collect data, and analyze results in a multidisciplinary team.
Qualifications include pursuing a PhD, passion for sensor design, programming knowledge (Python, Java, MATLAB, or C++), and a minimum 3.0 GPA.
