The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. The role requires acquiring and maintaining knowledge of products represented, serving, demonstrating, intercepting consumers, and selling products in a professional manner. Responsibilities also include maintaining event execution equipment in the stores and keeping a professional appearance consistently.
DescriptionPay: $16.00‑$16.50 per hour.
Responsibilities- Manage and maintain event equipment and supplies, ensuring they are clean and secured in the designated backroom area.
- Communicate with store management about upcoming events and the execution of past events when the supervisor is absent.
- Serve as the point person for all store events, assisting other Event Specialists with event kits, materials, and tools as needed.
- Provide leadership and knowledge to the team, assisting the supervisor in all duties.
- Gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
- Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell products to the consumer in a positive manner.
- Assist in all duties assigned to the demo program.
- Communicate the product’s features and benefits effectively.
- Prepare and serve food samples—including raw meats, produce, and eggs—complying with food safety guidelines.
- Use small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives to prepare food samples.
- Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using approved cleaning chemicals.
- Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the role’s requirements.
- Set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
- Complete all work assigned and assist with preparation for client visits, including audit corrections.
- Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
- Complete expense reports as per company policy.
- Submit required online documentation on the same day as event execution.
- Takes digital photos of Perfect Table Setup to document success stories for clients.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
- One to three months of related experience and/or training.
- Proficient computer skills on personal computer and mobile device.
- Food Safety Professional Certification or local food handler permit if required.
- Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach overhead, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb a 6‑ft ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a demonstration cart, and prepare foods using raw products and cooking utensils.

The employee will be regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms (including overhead), talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, crouch, climb a 6‑ft ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart fully loaded, prepare foods using raw products, and use cleaning supplies.
