Position: Seasonal Merchandising Service Associate - Weekends Preferred
Location: Pocomoke City

Overview

Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs. Builds relationships with vendors by providing direction and ensuring merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications. Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs (e.g., materials, supplies, time). Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.

Responsibilities
  • Customer Service:
    Provides SMART customer service at all times through the daily execution of Lowe's customer service policies, procedures and programs.
  • Vendor Relations:
    Builds relationships with vendors by providing direction and checking to ensure merchandise resets are completed according to Lowe’s specifications.
  • Project

    Collaboration:

    Collaborates with the Merchandising Service team and Manager by communicating project priorities, schedule, and project needs (e.g., materials, supplies, time).
  • Performance Analysis:
    Analyzes metrics and provides feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders.
  • Customer Engagement:
    Although the majority of time is spent on activities that do not involve direct customer interaction, engages with customers when opportunities arise. This includes understanding customer needs, assisting in locating, demonstrating, selecting, carrying, and/or loading merchandise; listening to questions and guiding customers through projects; and communicating product information and stock status.
  • Stock and Merchandising:
    Maintains stock, moves/replaces beams and grids, rotates stock, builds products, displays products and materials using power equipment per reset/project instructions.
  • Damage and Return Processing:
    Identifies damaged products, removes them from shelves, and processes returns to manufacturer or prep for shipping as applicable; replaces damaged signage and pricing labels; validates pricing information for visibility.
  • Signage and Wayfinding:
    Updates way finding and product location signage and maintains digital information store-wide.
  • Safety and Cleanliness:
    Maintains safe, clean, and secure work areas; conducts safety reviews; reports hazards; adheres to safety requirements relevant to job duties.
  • Equipment Operation:
    Operates store equipment as needed (e.g., power equipment, point-of-sale signage tools, and related devices).
  • Additional Duties:
    Performs other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED or equivalent years of experience; education may be substituted where applicable.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 6 months of Lowe’s sales floor experience.
  • 6 months of experience performing product merchandising tasks including reading planograms and plantograms, setting up and tearing down displays.
  • 3 months of experience operating power equipment such as lifts and order pickers.

Pay Range: $15.00 - $16.20 per hour
