Support lead

• Ensures all crew members wow the customer through personal contact with customers, training crew on the B.E.S.T. customer service experience.
• Oversees daily activities of all store associates, ensuring effective performance and excellent customer service.
• Assists with receiving, unpacking, and organizing new stock for rapid floor placement.
• Acts as Manager on Duty when needed, taking full responsibility for store operations, staff management, customer service, and urgent issues.
• Manages opening or closing the store, securing cash, locking doors, setting alarms, and ensuring smooth daily operation.
• Supports onboarding and ongoing training of associates on store policies, product knowledge, and procedures.
• Drives store sales and controls expenses, seeking ways to boost sales through merchandising, staff performance, and service.
• Partners with the entire store leadership team in merchandising procedures and recovery.
• Performs store maintenance, including garbage removal, sweeping, cleaning bathrooms, and maintaining the stock room.

• High School Graduate or equivalent.
• College experience preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of management experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi‑task.
• Creative thinking.
• Ability to maintain composure under pressure.

• Frequently operates cash register.
• Frequently moves merchandise weighing up to 25 lbs and places/removes merchandise up to a height of 5–10 feet.
• Frequently ascends/descends ladders to retrieve and put away stock.
• Frequently kneels, bends, twists, and stoops, including in the stock room and on the sales floor.
• Frequently communicates and exchanges information with customers, managers, and coworkers, both in person and over the telephone.
• Frequently moves across the sales floor to assist customers and to retrieve and put away merchandise.
• Works a flexible schedule to meet business needs, including day, evening, weekend, overnight shifts, and travel as required.
• Identifies and discerns email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures.
• Stays in a stationary, upright position 80% of the time.
