Sales Associate

As a Sales Associate at Carter’s, you will be the first face of the brand for growing families, greeting customers, assisting with product selections, and ensuring a positive shopping experience.

• Welcome customers with a warm greeting and provide assistance with product styles, features, and benefits.
• Confidently and proactively resolve customer issues and manage multiple customers in a busy retail environment.
• Assist with omnichannel as needed to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Execute and expedite point‑of‑sale/register transactions.
• Complete floor replenishment and shipment activities as needed.
• Articulate current promotional events and the brand loyalty program, including credit, to customers.
• Minimize store loss by providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe, clean store.

• A positive and solutions‑oriented mindset.
• Demonstrated customer service and engagement skills.
• Effective and professional verbal and written communication skills.
• The ability to manage multiple tasks at once.
• Physical capability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling as required.

Hourly rate ranging from $15.00 to $17.00, based on experience and location.
