Accounts Receivable

Job Summary

We are filling an entry level Accounts Receivable Support role to support the collections process along with other operational support.

• Manage customer service support & phone support to deliver fast, friendly, and effective resolutions
• Conduct research on missing or misapplied payments from checks, cash, EFT, credit cards, or online banking using web tools. Review bank documentation and payment receipts provided by customers, involving occasional customer interaction
• Review and analyze customer accounts weekly to decide if credit balances require transferring, debiting, or refunding
• Make recommendations to hold or transfer misapplied funds or refunds. Conduct timely research on delayed payment requests
• Ensure accurate application and reconciliation of payments to designated accounts and proper journal entry coding
• Coordinate with customers and internal stakeholders for ACH setup, including account set up, posting ACH payments, and processing reclasses
• Reconcile daily cash payments and research missing deposits or bank corrections. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for investigations
• Recommend process improvements and facilitate team meetings, trainings, and projects as necessary
• Identify trends and recommend improvements based on findings
• Maintain regular, consistent, and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedules, and overtime as necessary
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Primary Location Pay Range: $20.32 - $30.48

Comcast intends to offer the selected candidate base pay within this range, dependent on job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors such as experience. The application window is 30 days from the date job is posted, unless the number of applicants requires it to close sooner or later.
