Weis Markets - 15789 Livingston Road - Responsibilities:
Keep deli service areas well stocked and appealing to meet customer demands;
Smile and greet customers, answer questions, and resolve concerns in a polite and professional manner;
Ensure freshness and proper pricing/signage of merchandise in display cases;
Rotate products and handle damaged or near-expiration items per procedures;
Operate slicing equipment to prepare meats and cheeses per customer preferences;
Package items with price/weight/date labels and prepare ready-to-eat foods to order;
Prepare platters of sliced meats, cheeses, and vegetables;
Adhere to recipes and safety policies when preparing various foods;
May operate cash register and handle money per policies;
Maintain sanitation and cleanliness in department per schedules and health/OSHA standards;
Assist in inventory control and loss prevention measures;
Assist with receiving, unloading, and stocking deliveries as trained;
Collaborate with coworkers to ensure smooth department/store operation;
Maintain PPE usage and safety practices;
May assist in other departments as needed
