Responsibilities

As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for driving business development, customer engagement, pipeline management, and profit and loss (P/L) management within an assigned territory, while cultivating and expanding existing accounts to achieve optimal sales volume profitability.

  • Develop and implement comprehensive new business development strategies to drive company growth and create actionable plans to capture new business.
  • Identify customer needs and propose Transcend solutions to tackle their business challenges.
  • Collaborate with potential or existing customers and relevant parties to promote mutually beneficial relationships that enhance customer satisfaction and business growth.
  • Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Marketing, Engineering, and Operations to align business development strategies with broader company objectives.
  • Cultivate strong customer relationships while consistently exploring and engaging new prospects.
  • Create compelling proposals and presentations to target new business opportunities.
  • Regularly track, analyze, and report key performance metrics, business development activities, and market trends to senior management, using this data to refine strategies and improve performance.
  • Travel will be required for customer site visits, industry events, and trade shows.
  • Any other assigned miscellaneous tasks by management.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
  • Goal‑oriented individual to develop new business and achieve sales targets.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and implement effective business development strategies.
  • Team‑oriented professional who thrives both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic technical sales environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required (domestic).
  • Experience in the technology hardware or embedded industry is highly desirable.
  • Competitive base pay ($75,000 - $96,000 annually) + commission.
