Sleep Number Retail Sales Manager

Sleep Number® is a leader in personalized sleep wellness. We are looking for a Retail Sales Manager to lead and grow a high‑performing sales team, build lasting relationships with customers, and drive business results in a fast‑paced retail environment.

• Ensure a world‑class customer experience by guiding customers through a personalized sleep solution selection process.
• Build and maintain relationships with customers and team members, providing timely, relevant follow‑up and employee coaching.
• Lead store operations, including recruiting, managing, training, and performance management to meet productivity, compliance, and team effectiveness goals.
• Leverage company programs and tools to generate local market awareness and drive store traffic.
• Demonstrate a tenacious drive for results, hold self and team accountable for becoming trusted “Sleep Experts,” and consistently exceed sales goals.

• 3+years of proven sales management or team leadership experience with a track record of meeting and exceeding goals, preferably in a high‑end or specialty retail environment.
• Success in recruiting, training, engaging, and retaining top talent.
• Adept at using technology required for store operations (POS systems) and sales presentations (interactive demonstrations, iPad).
• Ability to lead by example in a fast‑paced, growth‑oriented work environment and a commitment to continuous improvement.
• Motivated by a pay‑for‑performance compensation plan and willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Authorized to work in the United States with demonstrated English language proficiency. Second language skills encouraged.
• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional education and training preferred.

• Base salary range of $76,000–$89,000 annually with uncapped commission and bonus potential; guaranteed base pay of $23.10 per hour.
