Overview

Pest management is a recession‑resistant industry, and our training will cover everything from 360‑degree inspections to strategic recommendation and customer relationship building.

• Serve as a problem solver for customers, using in‑depth training to recommend the best pest solution.
• Achieve goals through prospecting new business and assigned leads, supported by a robust advertising budget.
• Schedule sales appointments and meet with potential customers in their homes to explain Orkin’s products and services.
• Inspect the interior and exterior of the customer’s home and make recommendations based on the inspection.
• Stay organized and prepare sales agreements using a company‑provided iPad.

• Competitive earnings with base salary from $50,000 to $80,000 per year, plus commissions.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to obtain the appropriate pesticide license or certification if required (company will pay).
• Ability to work independently in the field and interact with customers.
• All qualified applicants considered in compliance with applicable state and local laws.

• Safely use a ladder within manufacturer weight capacity.
• Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
• Access crawl spaces, attics, confined spaces, rooftops, etc., climbing or balancing, kneeling, crouching, or crawling as required.
• Wear personal protective equipment, including OSHA‑compliant respirator when necessary.
• Work in various weather conditions.
