Account Manager, CRM Systems & Management
The Account Manager is responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of customer accounts, driving sales growth, maintaining strong customer relationships, and supporting digital adoption. This role develops account management, CRM, forecasting, and product expertise while ensuring consistent customer communication and retention.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and grow an assigned customer portfolio.
- Achieve sales targets, including a minimum of $3M in annual revenue
. - Maintain customer relationships and support ongoing client needs.
- Retain at least 90% of active accounts compared to the prior year.
- Develop product knowledge and identify replacement and upgrade opportunities.
- Drive adoption of digital tools, eCommerce platforms, and onboarding solutions.
- Maintain accurate CRM records, opportunity tracking, forecasting, and follow-up.
- Adhere to pricing and margin guidelines.
- Generate and qualify new business leads.
- Travel within assigned territory for customer visits, site reviews, and industry events.
- Achieve 10% year-over-year quarterly sales growth
. - Achieve 10% year-over-year digital sales growth
. - Maintain strong CRM accuracy and sales discipline.
- Support customer satisfaction, retention, and business growth.
- Proven success in B2B sales, account management, or client relationship management.
- Strong communication, organization, negotiation, and time management skills.
- Experience using CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, Hub Spot) and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and develop customer growth strategies.
- Ability to use measuring tools to verify product fit and requirements.
- Self-motivated, adaptable, and willing to travel as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or customer success, preferably in construction, building products, or related industries.
- Ability to visit active job sites and navigate construction environments while wearing required PPE.
- Ability to measure and verify product specifications using tape and laser measuring tools.
