We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Inside Sales Representative. As an Inside Sales Representative, you will manage the full lifecycle of customer orders, from quoting and pricing through production, fulfillment, billing, and post-sale support. This position serves as a central hub, coordinating with Sales, Production, Engineering, and Accounting to ensure accurate processing, on-time delivery, and strong customer satisfaction. The role oversees pricing, customer accounts, complaints and RMAs, collections support and maintains accurate data in CRM and ERP systems.

This position reports directly to Miltec’s Inside Sales Manager.

• Manage the full sales cycle, including quotes and order processing
• Serve as the main point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and escalations
• Support Sales Estimator and outside sales reps with quotes and customer coordination
• Maintain accurate pricing, including adjustments, discounts, and payment terms
• Monitor customer accounts for credit issues and assist with collections and payments
• Keep customer records and sales activity up to date in CRM(ACT!) and Sage
• Ensure orders are accurate, processed efficiently, and shipped on time
• Coordinate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues and support orders
• Research parts, support production identification, and coordinate new parts setup as needed
• Track orders through production and help address inventory or supply issues
• Provide order updates and deliver excellent customer service
• Handle customer complaints and RMA’s, ensuring timely resolution
• Support service and training visits, including scheduling, documentation, and invoicing
• Maintain internal procedures and documentation related to the role
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to understand technical product knowledge
• Ability to communicate with global customers in a professional and courteous manner
• Strong customer service skills; ability to develop lasting customer relationships
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word
• Working knowledge of Customer Management software (CRM)
• Able to understand and communicate in basic English with other staff members regarding all related materials
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail

• Willing to accept other duties as needed
• Willing to take required training classes
• Bilingual abilities are a plus

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or 5+ years of applicable experience.

• Work is sedentary in nature - regularly required to sit, walk and stand. Must be able to talk and hear in-person and by telephone. Must be able to use both hands repetitively to operate standard office equipment.

Miltec business hours are Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. We offer three optional flexible work schedules:

• Plan A
  - Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch (40 hours)
• Plan B
  - Monday through Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch OR 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 30-minute lunch (40 hours) - Friday off
• Plan C
  - Tuesday through Friday 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 1 hour lunch OR 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., 30-minute lunch (40 hours) - Monday off
