Sales Engineer

Cool Sys is seeking a Sales Engineer to drive HVAC Wholesale growth within our Sales & Business Development team. In this role, you'll blend technical HVAC-R expertise with customer-facing sales, supporting contractors and commercial clients with equipment selection, system design input, and energy-efficient solutions. You'll develop quotes and proposals, manage a sales pipeline, and collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and field teams.

Responsibilities

• Partner with contractors and commercial customers to recommend HVAC-R equipment and solutions
• Perform basic load calculations and equipment selections for bids and projects
• Provide technical product support and troubleshooting guidance to customers and internal teams
• Develop proposals, quotes, and submittals in coordination with engineering and operations
• Manage a sales territory, grow existing accounts, and prospect new business
• Collaborate with inside sales, engineering, and field teams to ensure smooth project delivery
• Stay current on HVAC-R products, codes, and energy-efficiency technologies
• Represent Cool
• Sys at customer meetings, trainings, and industry events
